Armand Ambrosini

Armand Ambrosini, 103, of West Haven, passed away peacefully at Shady Knoll Health Care Center in Seymour on Friday, February 23, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Dina (Berluti) Ambrosini of Seymour. Armand was born in New Haven to the late Alessando and Anna (Fulvi) Ambrosini. He retired from Armstrong Rubber Company after more than 50 years of service. Armand was also a musician, who for many years was a band leader, clarinetist and saxophonist for his own Al Ambrose and his Orchestra. Besides his wife of 79 years, he is survived by his two daughters: Anna (late Russell) Aldrich of West Haven and Elaine (John) Galish of Arizona as well as his two sons: Alexander (Marlene) Ambrosini of Virginia and Dr. Armand Ambrosini of Oklahoma. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two sisters Mary Bonci and Evelyn Papa. Family and friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St. West Haven Tuesday February 27, from 9 to 1030am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am at St. Lawrence Church, 207 Main St. West Haven. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave. West Haven.
