Ray, Alana, Jason, Raymond and Danny: Words cannot express the sadness we felt hearing of Alana's passing. Always a sweet soul and a warm hug. In High School Gayle and I would take the bus to Lauranlton and Alana would be waiting for hers to take her to St. Mary's H.S. I always she was the most beautiful girl in West Haven in the 60's. Tall, statuesque, classy with the million dollar smile. We all got married in 1967 and she became our neighbor at the Hampton House. Lots of laughs and wonderful neighbors. Moving to Branford I would see Alana from time to time with Gayle. Never changed always the big smile and a warm hug. We loved to share our stories of the kids and grandkids. Saw she and Ray a couple of years ago at Anthony's Hill Reunion. Still the beautiful smile and loving hug. We wish you always good memories of the sweet and gentle soul. Until we meet again my friend....Kathi and Tommy Kroll

We are so sad to see Alana pass so young. We are also sad to see her devoted husband Ray, my cousin, in this time of sorrow and loss. They were a wonderful couple and I had the honor of being there the night Ray met Alana. They were inseparable after that. It's been a meaningful love story, along with their beautiful children and grandchildren. May we all see Alana again in God's own time.

Words cannot not express the sadness Tommy and I felt last night when Gayle called me. I must preface by saying Alana in the 60's was the most beautiful girl in West Haven. Going to Lauralton Hall with Gayle on the bus,, we would see Alana on Ivy St. waiting for her bus also to St. Mary's tall, statuesque, classy, beauitiful with that million dollar smile!.....After Tommy and I were married she and Ray were our neighbors at the Hampton House..they lived downstairs with lots of laughs and memories...our lives were always intertwined somehow with our friendships throughout 50 years whether it was Vermont, Gayle or the Hill Reunion...again..always the same...still that beautiful smile and a warm hug and rehashing memories and catching up with the kids and grandkids...I know this is lengthy but my memories run deep with Alana...Never a harsh word out of her mouth...still that endearing smile and sweet as the day is long. May Ray, Danny and her loving children and grandchildren remember Alana as the sweet and loving spirit she was as a child as well in later life. Rest peacefully my friend and your family has a beautiful angle watching over them.....until we meet again..xxoo...Tommy and Kathi Kroll....we are leaving for FL Sunday morning.....so we can't attend,...but our hearts and souls with be with the Gooleys...

So sorry to see that Alana has passed away. It was always a pleasure to have her in our salon for her hair. We will be out of town this weekend and will not be able to attend the services. Please take care of yourselves at this difficult time. Sharon and Robert
