Jan, and the East Haven Senior Center sends their deepest condolences to Penny's family. Penny was part of our Centers family and we are all saddened by her passing.

Susan (Penny Spencer) Wood was a kind, caring, and loving person. She always put others first. Susan and her mother were active at the East Haven Senior Center. Penny was a breath of fresh air and active member of the East Haven Historical Society. She contributed so many hours and worked hard to preserve the history of East Haven. Penny and her mother were extremely close. Isn' t it ironic that her mother predeceased her in death just 12 hours before in Pennsylvania. God called them home together to share eternity.
