Rita Ziolkowski Setaro

Rita L. Setaro 83, wife of the late Michael J. Setaro of North Branford, Passed away on February 3, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital.  Rita was born in New Haven on August 6, 1933 to the late John and Anna (Dorois) Ziolkowski .  Rita was a longtime resident of North Branford and attended Saint Augustine Church. Rita was employed by Sandvik-Milford in Branford for over 15 years until her retirement. Rita will be remembered for her love and support for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as well as her tireless work ethic to ensure her family was always taken care of. Rita is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Stone of Guilford; her son, James Setaro of North Branford; her sister, Mary Karklel of Cheshire; her sister-in-law Dorothy Setaro of Branford; two grandchildren, Raymond III and Carissa; and two great-grandchildren, Elise and Gavin. Rita was predeceased by her son, Michael Jr; her two brothers, Walter and Henry; her son-in-law, Raymond and her brother-in-law, Joseph.  Friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Rd, North Branford on Friday February 10, 2017 from 9:30-10:30am.  The funeral cortege will then process to Saint Augustine Church, 30 Caputo Road North Branford where a Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11am.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
