So sorry to hear of Rick's passing just now. We have not been close for many years. We were at school together at Marvelwood Prep School and our Senior sear he had a room next to mine. Rick was a great guy and was great building things with his hands even then. The dorm was really a house with 5 students and a dorm master. Rick and the other kids would gather in my room after studies and pal around. Rick and I both had very dry senses of humor and we would rib the guys and inevitably it would go over their heads and I would look over at Rick and we would just smile. So sad to hear of his passing. Please feel free to contact me if you wish. Mike

Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Rick was one of our dock mates at Riverside Basin. A truly nice guy. We spent the spring watching him painstakingly restore his sailboat, a truly diligent and detailed job. Earlier in the summer we went to watch a fellow dock mate/musician and we had a great time out and enjoyed learning about Rick's restorations and adventures and the FL keys and his dog. Our deepest condolences, Kim & Garth

Rich will be missed at the Riverside Marina. I know he worked so hard on his sailboat and wished he had a chance to enjoy it like he wanted to. A genuine individual that I only knew for a short time. In deepest sympathy. Art Lebert

Our heartfelt condolences and prayers to you and your family. We live next door to Rick at 8 Laurel. We used to chat quite a bit when we saw each other about cars and just shooting the breeze. Although we didn't know Rick for all that long, since we just recently moved to Laurel St., he was a great guy and was a wealth of information about West Haven and he had great stories to tell us. He will be missed!

I am so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. The Cosmus family was a huge part of my growing up in Bloomfield. Tom and I are the same age. Ricky was a darling little boy-also very mischievous! I remember how proud he was to be an uncle when his nephew Chuckie was born, Ricky being all of 4 or 5. He and Tim Cotton were inseparable, and it was a terrible loss for him when Tim died. I remember his love for all of nature, his dogs especially.
Blessings upon his memory and to you all.
