Maryanne,
I first met Joe at 310 Orange St. in 1979. He was a good guy and a pleasure to be around. I also remember working with you in Buildings and Real Estate. You and your husband were two of the most decent people I had the pleasure of meeting at the phone Company. Back in 2007 I met Joe again while volunteering for the VA.That was the last time I saw him. Please accept my sympathies for your loss.

I was saddened to see Joe's obituary in today's paper. My husband Michael McCann worked with Joe at SNET. I recall fondly the stories Michael would relay of working with Joe, his work ethic and commitment to Veterans, especially those from the Vietnam Era. We would see him volunteering at the VA hospital Christmas Party when the McCann Family would go there to entertain for the veterans. So sad that so many of Michael's compatriots are succumbing to this horrible disease. We are coming up on a year since Michael's passing. May memories keep his spirit alive for his family and friends. Rest in Peace Joe.
God Bless,
Jeannine McCann

I worked with Joe when I was with the CSP Commercial Vehicle Squad. I enjoyed his wit and his work ethic. We talked about Vietnam as we had both served there and I'd like to think it was therapy for the both of us. Rest in Peace, Joe.

Uncle Joe, you will forever be missed by us, extra especially by my dad. We love you so much and will look after Aunt Marianne just as you will look after us from above. Thank you for being my godfather and for being such a great friend and brother to my dad. You will never be forgotten. We love you.

I send my sincere sympathy to the entire Zichichi family on your loss.
May memories and the caring thoughts of others help you thru this difficult time.

I send special condolences to you Lynette,my high school classmate, from North Branford. It's sad that as we too get a little older,.our losses are what seem to reconnect us. I send you my best ole friend...and wish you strength as you go thru this sad time.
