I am saddened to hear of the passing of my Godfather. He and my parents were close friends growing up. I really didn't get to have a super close relationship with him, but was brought back together through Facebook! I did get to see him when he attended my mother's 80th birthday a few years ago. I hope he and his wife Vera are enjoying being reunited! I shall say skål and drink a beer in honor of him tonight. Condolences to the family.

I will forever be thankful to my grandpa and grandma for taking care of me and loving me so much. They were both amazing people. I'm really glad that I get my creative expression from my grandpa, who has many paintings and drawings in home.
