George Perricone

George Perricone, 87, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 22, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to the late Mary (Cristofaro) Perricone. George was born on April 24, 1929 to the late Silvio and Antoinette (Rapuano) Perricone.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and worked for Marlin Firearms for more than 40 years as a foreman in the assembly room. George was an avid fisherman and gardener, and enjoyed woodworking, having built boats, violins, and cellos over the years. He was a beloved father and grandfather, and he will be missed immensely.
George is survived by his daughter Linda (Wayne) Patenaude of West Haven, and two brothers: Jack Perricone of Framingham, MA, and Vincent Perricone of Hamden. He is also survived by his two grandchildren: Crystal Patenaude (Anthony Lukacs) of Stratford, and Daniel Patenaude of West Haven, and his great-granddaughter Madelyn Soliel Patenaude.
Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven, on Tuesday, April 25, from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 26 at 11am in the funeral home. Burial will take place at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
