William F. (Bill, Billy, Billy-Moe, Moe) Moquet Jr. was born September 19, 1954, to William F. (Moe) Moquet Sr. and Isabelle T. (Belle) Moquet.
He departed this Earth on Sunday, September 3, 2023, to join his beloved family in the kingdom of Heaven.
Bill was pre-deceased by both of his parents, and his wife, the mother of his children, Bonnie D. (Jamieson) Moquet, and his sister Cynthia Moquet.
He is survived by his wife, Michele Moquet; his daughter Bonnie (Christopher) Goodison; his son William F. (Billy) Moquet III; his step children, Joshua, Jennifer and Jeremy; his grandchildren, Brayden, Brycen, Brielle, Bria and Alexander; his sister Rhoda R. Moquet; his sister Heather L. Moquet; his brother Meyer J. (Maria) Moquet; his baby sister Mary J. (Hector/Tato) Rodiguez; his granddaughter Victoria R. St. Peter; and countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and extended family members. In addition, he leaves behind many other loved ones including friends and co-workers.
Billy-Moe was a graduate of Eli Whitney Technical High School, Class of 1972. He retired from Metro-North Railroad in 2017 after 42 years of railroad service, including Penn-Central, Amtrak, and Metro-North.
He will be remembered, and greatly missed by so many. Visitation will be at Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St., West Haven CT on Saturday, September 9 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. If you are able, please join us for his Funeral Service at the funeral home at 10 a.m., followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
