Wendy J Frank

Wendy J. Frank, age 84, of Shelton, CT, passed away peacefully at Griffin Hospital on January 22, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of the late William B. Frank Jr.  Wendy was born in Hartford, CT on December 22, 1936, to the late George and Ida (Drake) Blantin. Wendy was a true caregiver who worked her whole adult life as an LPN. She always took care of her family, they were always her first priority. She was a loving, generous mother and the best friend anyone could hope to have.

She is survived by her three devoted children, William B. (Tammy) Frank III of Groton, Lynn (Carl) Shortell of Southington, and Lisa (James) Hickey of Meriden, and, nine grandchildren (Michelle, William, Karina, Anthony, Angelina, Carmella, Kathryn, Kellie, and Sarah), and four great grandchildren (Gavin, Dylan, Cash, and Gwendolynn). She also leaves behind a brother, Dennis Reynolds of Norwich, and sisters Marlene (Nicholas) of Canada and Jan Clayton of Norwich. She was predeceased by her beloved twin sister Norma Jean Blantin.

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven, CT on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a service at 12:00 p.m.  Interment immediately following at Oak Grove Cemetery.
