Vivian Naomi Vastarelli

Vivian N. Vastarelli, age 100, of North Branford passed away July 13, 2017 peacefully at Connecticut Hospice surrounded by her loving family.   She was born in Springfield, MA on May 27, 1917 to the late Roy and Lula Fenell Lancaster.

She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Vastarelli.  She is survived by her five children, Josephine (John) Tuttle of East Haven, Vivian Troiano (Dan) of North Branford, Nancy Grant (Brian) of Fairfield,  Michael Vastarelli (Loretta) of North Branford, James Vastarelli (Lisa) of Tequesta, Florida as well as her Sister In Law Marie Lancaster.  She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, John, Susan, Jody, Linda, Daniel, Marianne, Edward, Robert, Wendy, Donald, Donna, Karen, Tammy, Annette, Lauren and Michael as well as forty seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by three brothers and five sisters and two grandchildren, Roseanne Troiano and Eileen Boylan.

Vivian was a cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was devoted to her family.

Funeral services will be private, there will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
