Teodora “Ada” Vizcarrondo

Gained her wings – September 3, 2018

Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico to the late Justo Vizcarrondo and Emilia Roman.  Ada as everyone knew her and Alba Lydia to her mother, passed away September 3, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by her family and friends.  Ada lived in New Haven almost all her life, and the last two years in Summerville, SC but New Haven would be her final resting place. Ada had devoted her life to taking care of children and not only children but others.  Ada would give you the shirt off her back without thinking twice, she opened the door to her home so many times to those who needed a place to stay.  Ada was a loving, caring, strong woman, devoted to God and her family and a woman who stuck to her beliefs, and that smile of hers oh that smile we will always remember that smile. 

She is survived by her three children, Brayan (Mari) Elias, Victor Bultron, and Emily Vizcarrondo, three people she loved as her own children, Vivian Gonzalez, Karol Couvertier, and Yoly Davis, five grandchildren, one great grandson, host of nieces and nephews, her brothers Bienvenido Vizcarrondo, Andres Vizcarrondo, Jose Angel Fraguada, and her sisters, Tomasa Vizcarrondo and Daniela Vizcarrondo.  She was predeceased by her sisters Marta Vizcarrondo and Noemi Fraguada and her great niece Erica Gonzalez.
