Rory Gordon Moody

Rory Gordon Moody, 35, of Branford, passed away on Sunday June 18, 2017.  Rory was born in New Haven on March 9, 1982 to Christine Piscitelli and the late Austin Moody.

Rory was a longtime resident of Branford after moving there from North Branford.  Rory was a crafty man and was always working with his hands.  He had a love for carpentry, being outdoors, fishing and especially music.

Besides his mother Christine, Rory is survived by his step father; Frank Piscitelli, his daughter; Abigail Moody, his brother; Travis Moody and his wife Alicia, his sister; Cara Garea and her husband Paul, step sisters; Nanda Kunde, Keara Piscitelli, Marisa Allanson, and Rachel Piscitelli, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.  Besides his father Austin, Rory was predeceased by his maternal grandparents; Gordon and Mary Snow, as well as a paternal grandfather; Raymond Moody. 

Family and friends are welcomed to gather at the Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Rd., North Branford on Thursday June 22, 2017 from 4pm-7pm.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home promptly at 7pm. 

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions in Rory’s memory may be made to, The Abigail Moody Education Fund, 284 Notch Hill Rd., North Branford, CT 06471.
