Robert K. Healy

October 24, 1951 ~ August 25, 2023 (age 71) 71 Years Old

Robert Healy (“Bob”), 71, passed away on August 25, 2023 at his home in Guilford surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was born on October 24, 1951 to Joseph and Margaret Healy in Branford, CT. He met his beloved wife and best friend, Debra, in 1974 and they built their home and family on Lake Quonnipaug. He was an accomplished carpenter and owner of R.K. Healy Building. His craft of carpentry touched many homes and hearts throughout the Connecticut shoreline.

Bob lived every day with a sense of adventure, joy, and good vibes. He cherished his children, Brian and Shannon, more than anything and taught them the value of kindness, honesty, and living life to the fullest. Bob’s happiest times were on his motorcycle, at a concert, skiing, hiking, camping, and anything that included the outdoors.

Bob was a loving husband, father, brother, neighbor, and friend. Those who were fortunate enough to know him, and there were many, loved him. He is survived by his wife, Debra; his children, Brian, Shannon and her fiancé, Matt Panicali; his siblings, Carolyn (William) Chowanec, Peg (Bob) Klimm, and Richard (Kim) Healy. He is also survived by his in-laws, Pamela (Peter) Charland, Marie (Chris) Maier, Michael (Sherry) Reisner, Nancy Reisner, Kerry Reisner, and David Reisner and many nieces and nephews. Bob will live forever in our hearts and memories.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bob’s life on August 30th from 5pm – 7pm at Keenan Funeral Home located at 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS CT Chapter at
