Robert E. Comeau

Robert E. Comeau, 73, of West Haven passed away on January 18, 2018 at St. Raphael's Hospital in New Haven. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Maher) Comeau. Bob was born in New Haven on November 1, 1944 to the late Edmund and Marie (Robichaud) Comeau.

Bob was a member of the U.S. National Guard and retired after 52 years from The National Elevator Industry, where he was an installer. Bob was an avid member of the Ansonia Rod and Gun Club. He loved to travel with Eileen to many points of interest. But most of all, he loved his family and loved to spend time with grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

Besides his wife of 19 years, he is survived by his three children, Christine Kuryla of Milford, Donna Comeau of Woodbridge and Crystal Benoit of West Haven. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Comeau of West Haven and five grandchildren: Kelly, Thomas, Zoey, Ava and Garth.
