Richard J. Macri Sr.

Richard (Dick) Macri Sr, 85, of North Branford, passed away September 1, 2021 at his home. He is predeceased by his parents Ernest and Bella Macri, his first wife Joann Macri, and 4 siblings Alice Macri Sagnella, Maryanne Macri Catardi, Ernest Macri Jr., and Nicholas Macri. He leaves behind his loving wife Ruth Macri, 4 children Richard Macri Jr., Rischell ( Michael) Bernick, Lesley Colak, and Kathi (Billy) Sutowski, 7 grandchildren Randi (Chris) Cameron, Rick ( Jessica) Macri, Joseph Macri, Brittani ( Jay) Wahlberg, Ashlee Acampora, Ryan Sutowski, and Heather Sutowski, and 4 great grandchildren, CJ Cameron, Peyton Cameron, Jordan Macri, and Olivia Macri He is also survived by his loving sister Carole (Peter) Macri Criscuolo.

Dick was a master carpenter and avid boater. His most prized possessions were his great grandchildren. He loved swimming with them in the pool. He enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams the New York Yankees and New York Giants. He was a big fan of The Waltons and Gun Smoke. Dick loved his family and always saw the good in everyone. He will be greatly missed.❤️
