Nathon J. Highsmith

Nathon J. Highsmith, age 34, of New Haven passed away Monday, November 7th, 2022. He was born February 18th, 1988, in New Haven, Connecticut to Anthony and Linda-Lee Highsmith. 

Nathon loved listening to and writing music since he was a young boy. When he wasn't writing music, he would draw, making every card from him extra personal. More than anything, he was a protector for all he loved; his love surpassed his friends and family and was extended with a simple head nod, what’s up, hey or how are you doing, as he passed strangers. He always took the time to acknowledge others. 

Nathon is predeceased by his grandmother, Elizabeth Barrett, grandfather Charles Barrett, grandfather William Highsmith, Mother Linda-Lee Highsmith, Elizabeth Barrett aunt (Betsy), Reginald Hutchins, Brandon Robinson.

Nathon is survived by Grandmother Louise Highsmith, Father Anthony Highsmith, brother Anthony Highsmith, sister Malissa Williams, sister Tyisha Barrett, brother Thomas Glover, sister Jasmine Highsmith, sister-in-law Deborah Bristow, nephew Mekhi Bristow, niece Ajiana Williams, nephew Thomas Glover, nephew Amir Bristow Glover, nephew Taylor Jordan Jr, niece Jai’Myz Demps, nephew Jalen Williams, daughter Xena Highsmith, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and childhood best friend Edgar Morales. 

Memorial Service will be held on, November 18, 2022, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Keenan Funeral Home 238 Elm Street, West Haven CT 06516.
