Nancy L Kranzl

Nancy L. Kranzl, age 76, of West Haven passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on October 11, 2020.  Nancy was the beloved wife of  Ulrich Kranzl..  She was born in New Haven on July 7, 1944 to the late Allie E. and Mary E. Shippy.

Nancy grew up in the Legion Avenue section of, New Haven, residing in West Haven for most of her life.  She graduated from Hillhouse High School, class of 1962.  After graduation, she worked for Schick until her retirement.

Nancy had a deep love of animals and always had a dog by her side, a Pomeranian named Nikkita being her favorite.  She enjoyed spending Summer days outside gardening, carpentry, shopping, watching movies, walks on the beach with her dogs and spending time with family.

Nancy is survived by her husband Ulrich of 56 years, her three daughters, Wendy (Kamlesh) Bhojwani,Tracy Kranzl and Kristen Kranzl all of West Haven.  She also leaves behind her siblings Richard Shippy, Donna McNeil, Lewis (Maryann) Shippy, Deborah (John) Brandt all of West Haven, Joan (Roger) Barnes of Wallingford and her beloved Pomeranians, Sophia, Noodle and Joey.

She was predeceased by her brothers Allie E. Shippy Jr., Larry Shippy and John “Jack” Shippy.
