Nancy Ann Ardito

Our dear mother, Nancy Ardito passed away on May 30, 2022 at the age of 71 at Middlesex Hospital.  She was born in Meriden, CT but grew up in Wallingford, CT.  Nancy attended Lyman Hall High School, and she lived most of her life in Northford, CT.  She was a wonderful mother who loved her family dearly.   She enjoyed going to her girls' karate tournaments, baking with them, and planning family gatherings.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.  She moved into Twin Maples five years ago where she was able to enjoy playing bingo, drawing, and painting. She also enjoyed reading especially anything regarding religion.  She enjoyed listening to music, and one of her favorite bands was Earth, Wind, and Fire.

She was predeceased by her parents Melvin and Helen ("Nellie") Scalf and sisters Mary Ann Scalf and Diane Cullen.  She was also predeceased by her husband Philip Ardito, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Elisa and her husband George LaBash of Middletown, CT, and Ann Marie Ardito of Meriden, CT, and her grandchildren; Thomas Boone of MA, Nicholas Boone of MA, Samantha Boone of Meriden, and Laurenz Harris of Meriden, and by two great granddaughters.

Nancy is survived bay her sisters Deborah and her husband Kenneth Johnson of Hartfield, Virginia, and Theresa and her husband William Brixus of Hillsborough, North Carolina.  She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews; Carrie Johnson of Virginia, Kyle Cullen of Missouri, Katie and her husband Charles Conte of New Jersey, and multiple great nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held at Keenan Funeral Home in North Branford, CT on Tuesday, June 7 at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Monica's Church in Northford, CT, with burial at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven, CT.
