Michele A. Wade

Michele Ann Uricchio Wade, 60, passed away Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 in Hartford, CT. She was born January 26th, 1962. 

Born to Donald and Beverly Miles Uricchio, Michele grew up in Wethersfield and later attended the University of Connecticut. She was happiest floating in the waters of Long Island in Old Saybrook at the old family cottage. Michele soon married her beloved husband William (Bill) Wade. They shared a home in Hartford but continued to enjoy the summers in Old Saybrook. During her life, Michele worked for many years at the pharmacy in Stop and Shop and also at Crazy Bruce’s in East Hartford.
Michele is survived by her mother Beverly of Wethersfield, her brother Donald Uricchio Jr. of Miami, and her sister Susan (Frank) Borowicz of Cape Coral, FL. Michele delighted in the company of her nieces Alina and Amelia of Cape Coral.

She is predeceased by her husband Bill in 2016 and her father Donald in 2021.

A Memorial Service will be held at Christ the King Parish, 84 Somerset St, Wethersfield, CT on Saturday, July 15 at 10 a.m.  Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, 930 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT on Monday, July 17 at 10 a.m.
