Michael K. Molyneux

Michael K. Molyneux, age 63, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness, on November 14, 2019, with his wife and children by his side.  He was the beloved husband of Catherine Landino Molyneux. Michael was born on May 31, 1956, in New Haven to the late John and Rosemary (Braun) Molyneux. Michael worked for Metro-North as an engineer for 38 years. He loved to run marathons, including the NY Marathon. An avid reader, Dean Koontz, Clive Cussler, and Nelson DeMille, were a few of his favorite authors. Mike was known for his sweet tooth especially for cake. He was also know for taking over every dance floor with his dance moves. Besides his wife of 31 years, he is survived by his three children, Eric Molyneux of Durham, Jessica (Jason) Beloin of Higganum, Michael B. (Kathlyn) Molyneux of West Haven, one brother Harry (Cheryl) Molyneux of West Haven and three sisters, Joanne Molyneux of Oregon, Kim (Don) Byers of Florida, and Mary Rose (Philip) Palumbo of Milford. He is also survived by five beautiful grandchildren, Jordan, Karsyn, Briana, Abigail, and Hanna. Andrea Bernard-Jones was his loving care giver in his home for the past 4 years.

Family and friends are invited to visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven, Wednesday, November 20, 2019, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 21, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, 600 Jones Hill Road, West Haven. Interment will be private.
