Mary Edithann Ruggiero

Mary Ruggiero, at the young age of 55, entered into eternal rest on April 3, 2018 at home. She was born on June 13,1962 in New Haven to the late Joseph and Geraldine Ruggiero.

Mary  was survived by her five children, Toni Ruggiero, Edward Wagner, Amanda Ruggiero and Phillip and Yamil Suarez and two grandchildren Christian and Alanna Ruggiero and her partner of 26 years George Caldeira. Mary was also survived by her siblings, Anthony Ruggiero, Frank (Kathleen) Ruggiero, Joseph (Betty) Ruggiero,Vincent (Donna)Ruggiero, Vincent (Cynthia) Ruggiero, Adolph Proto And her sister Judy (Kevin) Ruggiero as well as her Aunt Gail Torre and Uncle Joseph Nugent and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 4 brothers Robert, Kenneth, Michael and Charles Ruggiero.

Mary was the kindest person you will ever want to meet, she would give the shirt off her back. She was loved by all her neighbors on Dover St. and she will truly be missed by her family and friends. Mary loved to feed all the animals from her porch. She was full of life. No one was ready for Mary to go but she was a very sick women and in a lot of pain. She is no longer in pain and we have gained another angel in heaven.

Family and Friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven Saturday, April 14, 5-7 pm.
