Marion Leion Larkins

Marion Leion Larkins, age 95, passed away peacefully at Apple Rehabilitation in Guilford on November 3, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late Everett Ford (Bud) Larkins.  Marion was born in New Haven on November 1, 1923 to the late Bengt Linus and Sarah Lelia (Sperry) Leion.  

Marion is survived by her three children, Charles R. (Claire) Larkins of North Branford, Lelia (Alton) Crabtree of Guilford, and Martha (Robert) Judd of Orange. She leaves five grandchildren Charles Jr. and Jason Larkins, Sarah Crabtree, Heather Crabtree DiNino, and Christina Judd and also four great grandchildren.  Marion is predeceased by two brothers Robert and Richard Leion.  

Marion was a longtime resident of West Haven and worked part time for the Board of Education for many years.  She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church in West Haven and a member of the Pebbles and Samaritans within the church. She was also a volunteer for W.H.E.A.T. in West Haven, a past member of the Aimes Point Club in West Haven, and a former volunteer at the Hospital of Saint Raphael.  Marion enjoyed her vacations in Cape Cod with her family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.  

Family and friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St. West Haven Friday November 9, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  A service will follow at the Keenan Funeral Home starting at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will follow at East Side Cemetery in Woodbridge.
