On September 29, 2022, Marilyn Rida Moran passed away suddenly at Yale New Haven Hospital. Marilyn is predeceased by her parents Doris (Stanford) Rida and Kenneth Rida. She is also predeceased by her loving husband Edward Moran. Marilyn leaves behind her only sibling Jeffrey (Carol Fox) Rida; her children Michael (Lori) Moran, Laura (Raymond) Ludoviconi, and her grandchildren; Paige Moran, Amanda (Stephen) DeCrescenzo, Jillian Moran, Blair Ludoviconi, Edward Moran, and the real apple of her eye is her great granddaughter Ella Rae DeCrescenzo. In later years Marilyn spent many happy times with her fun loving, loyal companion Bob Dargan who recently passed. Marilyn also leaves behind two sisters-in-law Mally (Bart) Moran, and Patty (Billy) Moran. She is predeceased by her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Bart Moran, Greg and Geraldine Moran, and Billy Moran.
After almost three decades of service Marilyn retired from Yale New Haven Hospital as a Clinical Coordinator for Occupational Medicine then later for the Blood Bank. In retirement she enjoyed the many friends she made over her lifetime – some since first grade. She recently moved from the home she and Ed raised their family in, and moved to Baybrook Arms where she continued to make more wonderful friends. Marilyn’s life was full almost until her last day. She spent every moment with the people she loved enjoying all that life had to offer. Now she joins her husband Ed who awaits her in heaven with a pitcher of Sombreros.
In lieu flowers, donations can be made to Make a Wish Foundation.
