Marie Louise Elizabeth Jean Paul

Marie Louise E. Jean Paul, 84, of West Haven, passed away at home surrounded by her family August 12, 2022.

Marie Louise was born June 9, 1938 in Haiti to the late Forteus Georges and Legina Depre, and later married her husband Gerald Jean Paul, Sr.  They just celebrated 56 years of marriage. She was the sister of the late ALourde Georges, Leonne Georges and Solange Georges of Canada.

She was the mother of five, Gelet, Guy, Gerald, Marjorie, and Marlenne. Mother-in-law of Erold Rene, Jose, Natasha and Fabienne Jean Paul.  Grandmother of Jordany and Angie Louis, Terrence, Nasser, Jeremiah, Ge'Ana, Saphire, and Gere Jean Paul. Many nieces and nephews.

Marie Louise was a full-time stay at home mother. She enjoyed music, dancing, and cooking. She loved everyone.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven, and Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Eglise Baptiste D’Expression Francaise de New Haven, 786 Dixwell Ave., New Haven.  A celebration of life service will follow from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery on Derby Ave., West Haven.
