Maria C. Rivera

Maria C. Rivera passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Connecticut Hospice surrounded by her loving family.  Maria was born in Puerto Rico on July 12, 1954 to Placido and Luz Maria Rivera.

She was a loving mother and was devoted to her family.  She is survived by her husband Celestino Rivera, son David Padilla (Charlene McMillan) and her daughter Jomarie Padilla of New Haven.  She is also survived by her brother Luis (Eva) Rivera of New Haven, her brother Luis (Daisy) Gonzalez , their two boys Mickey and Mark Anthony of New Haven and her step sisters Ivy, Dinora and Nelsa.

Family and Friends are welcomed to gather at the Keenan Funeral Home 238 Elm Street, West Haven on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:00am with the interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Ella Grasso Blvd., New Haven.
