Lynne Caprio, age 87, of Madison passed away peacefully Sunday July 17, 2022. She was born July 31, 1934 in New Haven, Connecticut to Edwina (Beckwith) Fragola.
From the beginning of her life, Lynne always led a life of kindness and love. From her long and devoted marriage to Joe to every holiday meal she put together for her ever growing family. Each member of her family was special to her, using her talent for sewing she would make them all quilts and Halloween costumes from the time of birth. It was always important to her to be there for every Christmas morning, every graduation, and every big life event.
Outside of her family, Lynne was actively involved in her church community, supporting her fellow parishioners and creating many handmade goods for the church and to raise money in support during the yearly Christmas Fair. Lynne would also sew quilts for babies in the NICU because of her servant’s heart. When she wasn’t actively trying to take care of everyone she could, Lynne enjoyed having a coffee at the beach with Joe, completing word puzzles and reading a good mystery.
Lynne is predeceased by her husband Joseph Caprio, mother Edwina (Beckwith) Fragola, sister Valarie (Rees) Lesyk, step fathers John Karges and Joseph Fragola and son in law Peter Harrison
Lynne is survived by her daughters Edwina Harrison, Robin (Dennis) Longo, Laura Montesi, and Cynthia (Robert) Farrell, grandchildren Christian (Jennifer) Harrison, Megan Lombardi, Benjamin (Ashley) Harrison, Matthew (Sara) Longo, Ashley (Phillip) Giampapa, Caitlin (Paul) Salerno, Sara Longo, Tyler Montesi, and Kyle Farrell, and great grandchildren Levi Lombardi, Alexis Lombardi, Olivia Harrison, Joseph Longo, Madison Giampapa, and Gianna Longo, and sister Karen (Karges) McKivergan
