Lois D'Addetta

Lois Clark D’Addetta, age 88 entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 16th at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Anthony M. “Newt” D’Addetta of Northford.

Born on June 19, 1928 to the late Clifford Clark and Gertrude Becker Clark in Wethersfield, she was the mother of Michael D’Addetta of Branford, Amy (Stephen) D’Addetta of West Hartford, Clifford D’Addetta of North Branford, and A. Lauren (David) McCarley of Grapevine, TX. She also leaves behind grandchildren William (Holly), Michael, Lauren Michelle and Jamie McCarley of Texas; and David Larkin of West Hartford.

Lois received her BS in Nursing from the University of Connecticut. Prior to her retirement she was Associate Director of Nursing at the Masonic Home and Hospital, and Surgical Supervisor at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Lois loved UConn basketball, playing bridge and spending time at a second home in Rhode Island, as well as clamming, relaxing on the beach and watching wildlife.

Family and friends are welcomed to gather at the Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford, on Tuesday June 20, 2017 from 4pm to 6pm.  A funeral service will be held at 6pm in the funeral home.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
