Laura L. Konareski

Laura L. (Daniele) Konareski, age 83, of West Haven passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 4, 2023, with family at her side.  Laura was born on July 11th, 1940, in New Haven, CT to the late Eugene and Pauline Daniele.

Laura was a kind and caring person who always put others first ahead of herself. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend.   She was married for 65 years to her late husband Edward T. Konareski, Sr., and has three children, Edward Konareski, Jr., Larry Konareski, Sr., and Michelle Konareski.  Laura was predeceased by her brother Eugene Daniele, Jr., and grandson Walter Konareski.  She has five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and many other friends and relatives that she loved dearly including Dominic and Sandy Daniele, Frank and Delores Daniele, James Daniele, Sr., Raymond Daniele, Jennifer Daniele, and Michael and Bernadette Daniele. 

Laura worked for over a decade for Blue Cross, and when not working she always enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and sewing often making blankets for friends and family and always offering coffee or food to anyone who walked through the door.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11th, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Keenan Funeral Home on 238 Elm Street, West Haven, CT. Mass will be held at St. John Vianney Church of St. John XXIII Parish on Tuesday, September 12th, at 10 a.m.
