Kenneth Daniel Marinos

Kenneth D. “Kenny” Marinos, 34 entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 surrounded by his family in West Haven, CT. Kenny was born on
September 1, 1982 in Milford, CT to William and Patricia (Brooks) Marinos of West Haven. Kenny lived his life to the fullest and on his own terms.  He enjoyed working on his cars, especially his Acura. He loved spending his time fishing, riding his motorcycles, working on the boat, hanging out with his friends & family, and flirting with girls. As a teenager Kenny was an avid volunteer at WHEAT in West Haven, and also at the West Haven Animal Shelter.

Besides his parents Bill and Trish, Kenny is survived by his brother; William Marinos and his wife Christine of Hamden, his sister; Melissa St. Peter and her husband Daniel of Hamden, his nieces; Caitlin and Marisa Marinos, Victoria St. Peter and nephew Daniel St. Peter, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Kenny also leaves behind childhood best friends and partners in crime, Howard Gaffan of North Haven, David Alarcon of West Haven, and Anthony Maratea of Milford.

Kenny was predeceased by his paternal grandparents; Vasilios Marinos of Greece, and Ada (Brockett) Marinos of West Haven, maternal grandparents; Robert and Ann (Crowley) Brooks of West Haven, and great aunt and uncle; Howard “Unk” & Jeanette “Anch” Brooks of West Haven.

Friends and family may gather at the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St. West Haven, on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 4-7pm. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home promptly at 7pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
