Kathryn M. McLean

Kathryn M. McLean, age 82, of Branford passed away peacefully at Milford Hospital on Sunday, January 6, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late James McLean.  Kathryn was born on January 6, 1937 in Bridgeport, CT to the late John J. and Mary Rowsome McGowan.

Kathryn retired in 1991, after 38 years at SNET.  She was a devoted Red Sox fan and an avid reader.  Kathryn was a long time parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church in Branford.  She will be sadly missed.

Kathryn is survived by her five nephews and six nieces.  She was predeceased by three brothers, Edward, Michael and John McGowan and two sisters, Mary Koether and Margaret McGowan.

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven Friday, January 11, 2019 from 8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Church, 207 Main Street, West Haven at 10 am.  Interment to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Avenue, West Haven.
