Katherine W. Scalise

Katherine W. Scalise, age 88 of North Guilford passed away at CT Hospice in Branford on October 12, 2017 surrounded by her family.  Beloved wife of the late Vincent Scalise.  She was born in New Haven on March 21, 1929 to the late Rollin and Alice (Clarke) Whitney.

Survived by her sister Louise Mason, daughter Michelle Mulligan, son Robert W. Scalese, grandchildren: Ryan, Tyler (Kaitlyn) and Chamberlain sister-in-law Mary Diehl (Dick) and many nieces and nephews. Katherine was predeceased by a brother Frank Whitney and sister Louraine Mason.

Katherine was a very active and longtime member of the North Branford Congregational Church, having sung in the choir for most of her life and serving on many boards and committees over the years.

Memorial services will be held Sunday October 15th at the North Branford Congregational Church at 2pm.  Burial will be private.
