John J Miscio Jr

Miscio, John Joseph Jr., 81, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on June 24, 2020 with his family by his side.   John was the son of Carmelita and John Miscio, Sr.,and the sister of Lois Falero, Wallingford, CT.

In his earlier years, John worked at Winchester, where he met his beloved wife Beverly while they both worked at J. Press.  Beverly and John were happily married for 57 years before she passed away in 2017. John spent four years at the Silver Sands Base, New Mexico as a Sharpshooter in the Army.  Together they raised four children.  Brian (Veronica) Miscio of North Haven, Wayne Miscio, Cynthia (Eric) Brown of Cheshire and David (Shannon) Miscio of North Branford.  John was the owner of Miscio Pool Installations.  He loved working with his family everyday and servicing his long time pool customers.  He was a huge Yankee & UCONN basketball fan.  He enjoyed spending his alone time  watching Fox News keeping up on the times then calling his children to review the current events. John enjoyed going out to dinner with his sister Lois and his cousin Helen every Sunday. Most importantly John was happiest around his grandchildren.   Joseph (Victoria) Miscio, Anthony Miscio, Hunter Brown, Harrision & Mason Miscio along with two great grandchildren Miguel and Joseph Jr. 

There will be a graveside service at Beaverdale Memorial Park, 90 Pine Rock Ave, New Haven on Thursday July 16, 2020 at 11:00am.  The family is asking the attending to dress in Yankee, Huskies, Military, Miscio  or DJM proud attire.
