Jeffrey J. Alvarez, 30 was unexpectedly called home to the Lord on June 3, 2022. Jeffrey was born on September 19, 1991 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, son of Yolanda Fernandez and Julio Alvarez.
Jeffrey worked for the City of Springfield, Massachusetts as a Parks and Recreation Maintenance Worker. He was the true definition of the life of the party. He loved to rap, dance, box, and had a passion for cooking. Jeffrey was known to make the best “pinchos”. He was a natural born comedian whose smile would light up a room. He enjoyed making everyone laugh, but found it most rewarding when it was his children laughing. Jeffrey was a kid at heart, who loved being a father, and his children loved having him as their dad.
Jeffrey will be remembered most for having a heart of gold. He was always willing and able. He was kind and generous. He was an amazing partner, father, brother and son. He was a conversationalist. He would call his mother and talk for hours, always thanking her for being a good listener. His bond with his siblings were like no other. Jeffrey will truly be missed.
Jeffrey was predeceased by his grandfather’s Enrique Alvarez and Jose Fernandez. Surviving in addition to his parents are his grandmothers Lucy and Maria, girlfriend Suheily, his sons Andriel, Jentzen, Jentzell, and his two daughters Yannielys, and Yamilienys. Jeffrey was a beloved brother to Yamileth, Tiana, Dimaris, Leslie, and Kelvin. He was the nephew to Jose, Julio, Patricia, Jose Alvarez, Julio Enriquez, Lilian, and Blanca. Jeffrey leaves behind his nieces and nephews Armanny and Sophia, and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St., West Haven, CT on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.
