Janice Rivezzi

Janice Rivezzi, Age 80, passed away on February 28, 2018 at St. Raphael’s Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late August Rivezzi. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on May 1, 1937 to the late John and Viola Jarret Lipkvich.

Janice and her husband, both farmers, owned and operated the Rivezzi’s Garden Center in North Branford from 1962 – 2007. From 2007 to the Present  The Rivezzi family has been active with “R” Destiny Arabian’s . Janice enjoyed spending time with the horses, especially her horse April.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and shopping.  Most of all she was a cherished Mother and enjoyed her family.

She is survived by her two children Gina Rivezzi and Bart Rivezzi of North Branford. She is predeceased by a brother, Jerry Lipkvich.  

Family and friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford on Sunday, March 4th from 2pm – 4pm. Funeral service, Monday, March 5th, 10am at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
