Jacqueline Morris Singletary

Jacqueline Morris passed away peacefully at her home on January 6, 2023. She was born on April 27, 1967, in Westmoreland, Jamaica. Those close to her will always remember Jacque with the following words: “Have a blessed day!” She greeted people often with these words and not only verbalized this phrase but worked to make those blessings available to those around. Since January 2018, Jacqueline was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She treasured her membership in this community and enjoyed the service opportunities that she was given. She especially relished opportunities to teach and serve among the young children in the congregation.

            With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the worsening of her medical conditions, she became homebound. Nonetheless, she still maintained loving relationships with family and friends through technology. Her dedication to serve others inspired her to continue fellowshipping friends and family from home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester Morris and Eva Thompson, and her son, Oral McIntosh. She is survived by two sons, Derrol McIntosh and Jahime Henreques, and several extended family members. A memorial service will be held on January 21, 2023 at 10am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 990 Racebrook Road, Woodbridge, Connecticut.
