Helen E Emmerich

Helen E. (Stahl) Emmerich, age 96, of West Haven passed away peacefully on September 30, 2020 at Yale New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus.  She was the beloved wife of the late Gustav Emmerich and a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Helen was born in New Haven On November 20, 1923, the daughter of the late William and Helen Stahl of West Haven.

Helen is survived by her brother, William (Marnie) Stahl  of California, son Alan (Susan) Emmerich of Guilford, daughter Judith (Michael) Gigola of West Haven, son Wayne (Maria) Emmerich of Fort Mills, SC and son Bruce  Emmerich of West Haven.  She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by granddaughter Misty Ann Gigola, brother Richard Stahl and sisters Mildred Belmonte and Gertrude Phelps.

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven.
