Helen Dykun

Helen Sudol Dykun, 97, of West Haven passed away December, 31 at West River R.C. in Milford, CT. Born May 25, 1921.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agata (Gurdak) Sudol. Helen is survived by her daughter Michele J. Dalton (Merle), and son Stephen J. Dykun (Debra), grand children Kimberly A. Dalton (Nathan), Zak J. Dykun and Eric S. Dykun.  She is also survived by beloved sisters Anna Malicki, Stephanie Kane and several cherished nieces and nephews.  Helen was predeceased by siblings Mary Sweeney, John, Frank, Joseph Jr, Stanley and Walter Sudol.  Helen showed her love for family ans friends with her baking ans home-cooked meals.  Her banana bread, coffee cake, anginettes, beef stew ans pierogi were her fvorites.  According to Helen’s wishes there will be no formal services.  The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at West River R.C. and Seasons Hospice for providing excellent care.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.  Shared memories and expressions of condolences may be posted to Helen’s obituary page at www.keenanfuneral home.com
