Grace (Price) Flora, age 69, lifelong resident of Old Saybrook, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on September 19, 2021. She was born in Putnam, Connecticut on May 18, 1952 to the late James and Kristina (Nemeth) Price.
Grace was a Navy Veteran serving four years primarily at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital. After her service she attended Middlesex Community College. She was employed as a Medical Assistant for over forty years at Middlesex Cardiology, Old Saybrook and Middletown where she made many friends to include her co-workers, doctors and patients. She also worked in many capacities at the Old Saybrook Cinemas starting as a Cashier and working her way up to Manager. She was an avid walker and enjoyed Broadway musicals. Old Saybrook has lost a good friend, she will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her sister Deborah Stevenson and her brother James (Lorraine) Price both of Old Saybrook. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Kendra A. Price of Deep River, Kevin (Heather) Price of Essex, Brenda (Ernest) Price Kennedy of New Jersey and Robert (Stephanie) Price Jr. of Florida as well as four great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers, Robert R. Price and John S. Price.

Family and friends may visit Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of Christ Congregation, 366 Main Street, Old Saybrook. Burial will be private at a later date. Services will be under the care of Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford.
