Gloria L Kojabash

Gloria “Dolly” Fowler Kojabash, age 94, of Northford, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020 at her Northford home.  She was the beloved wife of the late Kyriakos “Kay” Kojabash.  She was born on September 21, 1926 in New Haven, CT to the late Earl Grey and Ellen McAvoy Fowler.

Dolly is survived by her daughter Diane Allison Kojabash of Northford and her siblings, Dorothy Butcher of Branford, Ann (Neil) Gaunya of Wallingford, Eileen (Albert) Acker of Wallingford and Earl (Elizabeth) Fowler of Essex.  She was predeceased by her three siblings, William (Grace) P. Fowler of Wallingford, Mildred Kaercher of West Haven and Muriel (Richard) Hansen of Wallingford.

She now joins her late son, for whom she held the greatest love, Mark Christopher Kojabash (21).

Dolly was held in high esteem by friends and family who benefited from her personal assistance in times of great sorrow and illness.  She was very proud of her Irish and Yankee heritage and was the family historian and “keeper” of the family photographs and stories.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 30 Caputo Road, North Branford.  Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Mark C. Kojabash Scholarship Fund at Xavier High School are greatly appreciated.
