Geraldine Morin

Geraldine (Salvati) Morin, 83 of Columbia, South Carolina, formally a long time resident of West Haven, passed away surrounded by her family on January 30, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Ralph S. Morin Sr. Geraldine was born in New Haven on September 6, 1935 to the late Angelo and Rose (Sarno) Salvati.

She loved to volunteer at Seacrest Retirement Center, the Mackrille Elementary School and Seth Haily School.  Geraldine loved to walk, dance, play bingo and listen to music.  But her true passion was her family, she will be truly missed.

She is survived by her five children, Linda (Tim) Bennis, Norma (Joe Romano) Desanti, Kathy (Donald) Mills, Janice (Tim) Bowman and David (Frances) Morin.  She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren and her sister Mary Dufault.. She is predeceased by a son Ralph (Bernadine) Morin Jr. and siblings George, Carl, Louie, Joe, Angelo, Joseph, Pasquale & Albert Salvati.

Family and friends may visit Keenan Funeral Home, 239 Elm Street, West Haven Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am with a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Derby Avenue, West Haven.
