Garry A. Conway

Garry A. Conway, age 72 of West Haven, entered into eternal rest on May 18, 2019 at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford, with his loving wife holding his hand. Garry was born in New Haven on September 13, 1946 to the late Allan Conway and Wilhelmina McDonald.
Garry leaves behind his beloved wife Katheryn Conway of West Haven, his brother-in-law Dan Taragowski of West Haven, a sister, Kathy Carney of Florida, and many other cherished relatives and friends.
Garry will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and his loving spirit.  He dedicated his professional life to helping others, working in management for Goodwill Industries, Branford Donation Center.  
He was a lover of nature, and of all animals.  Garry and his wife frequently took small day trips to observe CT's wildlife, particularly deer and bird watching.  In his spare time Garry enjoyed making birdhouses, a hobby in which he was very talented.  He will be missed greatly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
The family is honoring Garry's wishes and not having any calling hours or service.  A celebration of Garry's life will be private and at a later date.
