Francis W Moran

Francis William Moran passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the age of 74 after a long illness. Francis was born in New Haven, CT on April 10, 1947.

He lived all of his life on Noble Street in West Haven and was a parishioner of St. John Vianney Parish. He was retired from SNET, and was an honorary life member of the West Haven Elks, having served many years as an officer. He also served on the bingo committee and was a former Irishman of the year.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolores Timmons Moran and Joseph F. Moran, and one brother, Joseph J. Moran. Francis leaves behind two sisters, Catherine Camputaro of West Haven and Laurian (William) Colombo of Weston, FL, sister-in-law, Patricia l. Moran of West Haven, two nephews, Dennis Camputaro of Guilford and John (Melissa) Colombo of Weston, FL, three nieces Cara (Pete) Moran of Hamden and Megan and Erin Moran of West Haven. Franny was a great person who was always smiling and only saw the good in people; he was always was very thankful for what he had. During his illness so many people would ask how he was doing and we were grateful for the many prayers sent his way. He is now at peace and we will miss him.

Graveside services will be held at St Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave, West Haven on Thursday September 9, 2021 at 11am.  Keenan Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
