Frances M. Collins

Frances M. Collins, 89, of West Haven passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Orange Convalescent Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold Collins.  

Frances was born in New Haven on April 14, 1929 to the late Frank and Clara (O’Dell) Monz. Frances was an assistant Girl Scout Leader in West Haven, and she worked at the West Haven Public Library for over 10 years. She also worked at the Yale University Grace Building for many years. Frances was a volunteer at W.H.E.A.T. in West Haven and was very active in Animal Rescue. She was also a volunteer at St Lawrence School in West Haven. She will be sadly missed. 

Frances is survived by her daughter Patricia Collins of West Haven, and many cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, June 15, at the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
