Estelle J. Murray

ESTELLE JOSEPHINE MURRAY of Old Saybrook, CT passed away at the age of 95 on October 25, 2021 at Gladeview Health Care in Old Saybrook, CT. She was predeceased by her Husband William J. Murray Jr. of Portsmouth, NH in 1963.

“Jo” was the eldest daughter of Joseph Martin McNamara Sr. and Dorothy (Allen) McNamara of New Haven, CT.

She is survived by her Brothers: Dennis McNamara, Madison, CT, Ralph McNamara, Henderson, NV, Howard McNamara, W. Haven, CT, and her Beloved sister Geraldine Cole, New Haven, CT.  She is also survived by her Children: William J. Murray III (Jan) of Old Saybrook, CT, Wayne M. Murray of Chagrin Falls, OH, June A. Peer of Bradenton, FL, Kevin J. Murray of Warwick, RI, Brian, M. Murray of Bradenton, FL.  In addition, she is survived by her 9 Grandchildren, Kimberly Brothers (Chris) of Washington, IN, Shannon Davison (Jason) of Fredericksburg, VA, William J. Murray IV ( Wendy) of Anchorage, AK, Dreen Murray of Savannah, GA, Cody Murray of Pueblo, CO, Chris Murray (Teal) of Bethesda, MD, Josh (Jen) of Madison, NJ, Jake Murray of Silver Spring, MD, Brian M. Murray Jr. (Vanessa) of Prince George, VA and her 15 Great Grandchildren. She will be remembered by her Sisters-in-law Carol Murray and June Murray Lewis of New Hampshire.

Josephine was predeceased by her Brothers: Joseph M. McNamara Jr, Bernard McNamara, Norman McNamara, Kenneth F. McNamara, Ronald N. McNamara and her sisters Dorothy Carpentino, and Natalie De Martino.

Per her wishes she will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery with her two deceased sons Terry and Chuck Murray.

There will be a Graveside Service at Riverside Cemetery, Sheffield Street, Old Saybrook, CT on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 1pm for Friends and Family.
