Elizabeth Haar

Elizabeth (Betty) Haar, age 96, of Orange passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 20, 2022. She was born April 27, 1926 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late William and Bessie Cunningham.

She was a caring person who enjoyed watching sports, especially the Yankees, spending time with loved ones, and creating her yearly family calendar.

Elizabeth is predeceased by her loving husband, Henry P. Haar, and her siblings, William S. Cunningham Jr, Frederick (Earl) Cunningham, Laura Jouard, and Evelyn Griffiths.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Beth Balanca, Daniel P. Haar, and Cindy (Tien) Chen. Her grandchildren, Kelly Balanca and Chris (Tracey) Balanca. And her great-grandchildren, Penelope Balanca and Anna Balanca.

The family would like to thank the Orange Healthcare Center for their compassionate care toward Elizabeth. 

Please join Elizabeth’s family as they honor and remember her life on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 5 p.m - 7 p.m. at the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St, West Haven, CT.

Burial will be held at Beaverdale Memorial Park, 90 Pine Rock Ave, New Haven, CT, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 11a.m.
