Eleanor May Criscuolo

Eleanor May Criscuolo, age 93, of North Haven, CT passed away April 12, 2021 in Yale New Haven Hospital from complications of Covid-19.  She was the beloved wife of the late William Criscuolo.  Eleanor was born in Hamden, CT on May 2, 1927 to the late John and Irene Nelson.

She graduated from Hamden High School.  Afterwards graduating, she married Charles Tripp Jr. and they started a family together.  She enjoyed being a stay-at-home Mom to her three children.

Eleanor is survived by her children Gordon (Janice) Tripp of New Hampshire, Allen (Claudia) Tripp of Oregon, grandchildren Ralph (Janet) DeMatteo, Richard DeMatteo of Norwich, Emily Randall of West Haven, and Cheryl Tripp of Branford.  She also leaves behind brothers David (Della) Nelson of Florida and William Nelson of Terryville.  She was predeceased by her daughter Nancy Asprelli, and brothers John Nelson and Albert Nelson.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Cemetery,
