Elda E. Orio

Elda Esposito Orio died peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Middlesex Hospital on December 24, 2017 after a valiant battle with dementia.  She was the widow of Humbert M. Orio, the beloved mother of Bradford P. Orio, Elissa A. Orio and the late Stephen C. Orio.  She was the sister of the late Anna Amarante, the late John Esposito and the late Fred Esposito.  She was the cherished grandmother/”nonnie” of Erica (Jason) Gedrim and Gregory (Danielle) Dady and “great nonnie” to Emily M. Gedrim.  She was the aunt of Nancy (Edward) Hook as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Keenan Funeral Home of North Branford is in charge of the arrangements and the services will be private.  There will no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make donations to the Middlesex Hospital Hospice & Palliative Care Inpatient Unit at 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457.
