A devoted wife and beloved mother, Edith Maturo former resident of Orange, Connecticut and Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on Monday December 20, 2021, after a brief illness.

Daughter of the late Sofia and Carmine Altieri of New Haven, Connecticut where Edith was born. Sister of the late Vincent J. Altieri, Theresa DePetto, and Viola Altieri.

Edith was the wife of predeceased husband Antonio Maturo former president of P. Maturo, Inc. Mother of daughter Catherine Maturo and son Anthony F. Maturo, daughter-in-law of Catherine Boyce Maturo current residence of Arizona, grandmother of twins, Kelly Maturo Edens and Anthony J. Maturo and great-grandmother of Joseph and Jacqueline Maturo, and Brooklyn Edens.

A memorial service will be held for Edith on January 14, 2022, 9:00 AM at Holy Infant Church on Racebrook Road, Orange, Connecticut followed by a funeral mass to be held on Saturday January 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Church on Washington Ave. New Haven, Connecticut. Edith’s final resting place will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven, Connecticut.
