Dawn Suzanne Villaverde

Dawn Suzanne Villaverde, 55, of West Haven, passed away on January 30th in Derby, CT.

Dawn was born in Bronx, NY to Murray and Lorraine Villoverde on September 1st, 1963.  She graduated West Haven High School.  She worked several different jobs throughout the years but everyone knew her true passion was always working with and riding horses which is why she called herself “The Horse Lady”. She loved watching movies with her family, had a remarkable ability to remember every detail of every funny & embarrassing childhood story of her children, and enjoyed spending time at the beach. Dawn’s ability to cheer up a room with her smile, her numerous funny stories, and her “magic mommy kisses” to help heal any situation are how she will be remembered. 

Dawn is survived by her children Ryan, Dillon, Tawny, and Rory;  brother Duane; parents Murray and Lorraine; niece and nephew Britney and Dorian;  granddaughter Fiona; and former spouse John Horan
